Unique, handmade single malt whisky or fine wine holder and carrier. Suitable for any wine or spirit standard bottle size. 3mm thick Italian veg tanned full grain leather, hand cut and hand stitched. Saddle stitch is a traditional way of making strong leather items and is carried out using two saddlers' harness needles. For extra strength and form one tube of leather is stitched over another to give rigidity and allow for a snug lid closure. The lid closure is a 1" strap onto a brass Sam Brown stud. The carry strap is made from cotton webbing with leather ends, giving strength, quality and a desirable aesthetic. The strap is fully adjustable on solid brass slides, it is also removable if you want to stand your bottle holder on a desk or table to display. All the brass hardware is solid brass made in a family foundry in the Midlands. Edges are all blacked and hand dressed in the traditional way. This piece will last for generations.

Total height is 34 cm, width is 10 cm. sized for standard 750 ml bottle. Internal diameter 85 mm

Materials

Belts are made made from the finest quality Oak Bark Tanned Leather. The finest hides are pit tanned over fourteen months to give a uniquely crafted luxury and durable leather. Either J & FJ Bakers or Sedgwick.

Small leather goods are made from full grain died through veg tan case leather, Usually Lyveden or Lamport

For Belts and collars

Use the sizing diagram as a guide, belt size will be more than your waist size as it also encompasses the clothing you are wearing. I will make the size required the centre hole of seven to allow adjustment up and down.
